200 Miles, One Incredible Tribute What an incredible achievement, and an even more meaningful journey We’re so proud to celebrate our amazing fundraiser Alex, who has officially completed the Wild Horse 200, an extraordinary 200-mile race across Wales, including an astonishing 30,000 ft of climbing. Over the course of around three days and nights, Alex pushed through nearly 60 hours to reach the finish line. What a phenomenal effort! Alex took on this challenge in memory of his close friend Rob, a keen and accomplished triathlete, who once led Alex’s support teams during previous ultra marathons. In turn, Hearts Together was there to support Rob during his treatment for Leukaemia, making this challenge a deeply personal way for Alex to give back and honour his friend’s memory. Not only did Alex complete this immense challenge, but he absolutely smashed his £1,000 fundraising target, raising an incredible £2,627 including Gift Aid! This will go such a long way in helping us continue to support families when they need it most. Alex, we can’t thank you enough for your dedication, strength, and generosity. We hope you’re now enjoying some well-earned rest, you’ve truly earned it! And to everyone who donated and supported along the way, thank you. Your kindness is making a real difference. Inspired?
