Plymouth Charity Business Group Charity of the Year We’re delighted to announce that Hearts Together has been selected as one of Plymouth Business Charity Group’s 2026 Charities of the Year, alongside our friends at Jeremiah’s Journey. The announcement was made following PBCG’s summer fundraising event, and we are honoured to mark our 25th anniversary with this exciting new partnership. Over the coming year, we’ll be working with PBCG’s business community to raise vital funds and awareness for our work supporting patients, carers and families who need to stay close to hospital. We are grateful to PBCG for their support and belief in our mission. Both charities are celebrating significant anniversaries in 2026, with Hearts Together marking 25 years and Jeremiah’s Journey entering its 30th year. The PBCG partnership will provide them with a year of fundraising support, profile-raising opportunities, and access to a powerful network of local businesses committed to giving back. As we mark 25 years of providing compassionate support for people accessing hospital care in Plymouth, this partnership is a brilliant opportunity to raise awareness of our work and galvanise support for our Big Build Appeal. Michelle ClarkInterim CEO of Hearts Together Hearts Together provides accommodation, support, and a welcoming community for people travelling to Plymouth for hospital treatment. The charity’s Big Build Appeal, launched in 2023, aims to raise £11.5 million to redevelop and expand their on-site facilities, increasing capacity and improving accessibility for families, carers, and patients. We are delighted to have been chosen by the Plymouth Business Charity Group as one of their 2026 Charities of the Year. In 2026 we will be celebrating 30 years of supporting families to manage their grief in a way that is individual to them. Sadly, one in 29 children will experience the loss of a loved one and our partnership with PBCG will enable us to highlight and strengthen our work in the community and ensure that no child or young person is left alone in their grief.
