RAOB Our Boys Lodge 149 raise £2,000! A huge THANK YOU to the incredible team from RAOB Our Boys Lodge 149 for their unwavering support throughout 2024! Thanks to their amazing efforts hosting quiz nights, treasure hunts, formal dinners, raffles, a fabulous fun scooter challenge and so much more, they have raised an incredible £2,000 to support our cause!!! A special shout out to John Puddicombe and Wiggy Bennett for all their hard work coordinating all the events and making each one such a success. The Hearts Together team also really enjoyed getting to know the group throughout the year, attending a few of the fundraising events and getting involved with the group. Two of our team members, Michelle and Josie, had the pleasure of attending their wonderful carol service in December to collect this generous donation. It was great to reach out to this fantastic community group and have the opportunity to share how their hard work fundraising will help many families from right here in Plymouth and across the South West. To put this into numbers, this £2,000 donation could.... Fund up to 32 nights stay for a family in one of our double or family rooms Or, it could fund up to 80 counselling sessions for families and individuals, both at the hotel staying with us and via remote support after they have gone home. Or, it could fund just under three months worth of breakfast and food supplies for our guests, helping to reduce the financial burden for the families staying with us, as well as ensuring that they are looking after themselves too!
