Young fundraisers make a difference at Landulph Fair

A massive thank you to Daisy and her friend Eva for their incredible efforts in raising over £250 for Hearts Together through a raffle at the Landulph Christmas Craft & Gift Fair. Their generosity and hard work are truly inspiring!

Daisy, who volunteered with us during the summer, wanted to continue supporting our work. Her dedication to Hearts Together is heartwarming, and her words capture her passion perfectly:

25 Years of Hearts Together!

We celebrated Hearts Together’s 25th anniversary this month with a party at our Hospital Hotel, highlighted by fundraiser Ricky Callow completing a 37-mile challenge. The day honoured our founder, Monica Pearce, celebrated the support we provide to families facing medical treatment, and marked the launch of our new Sponsor a Counsellor campaign to expand emotional support services for guests.

Our big build project sees Hearts Together set to expand from 26 bedrooms to 73 over two build phases, an ambitious but very necessary challenge that we intend to meet head on, as we look to accommodate the ever-growing needs of patients, carers, relatives, our local community, healthcare professionals and trainees.

This service has already shown to be absolutely invaluable, helping to reduce the stress and cost of transport, meaning that our guests can stay focused on supporting their loved ones or getting better themselves.
